People often ask me, “Why did you write Hard Comes First?” My reason is simple. In my many years of coaching elite people, I have countless examples of people overcoming challenges to do great things. These stories of inspiration are worth sharing because learning from others can speed up the process of learning.
I don’t just coach players, I coach real people who have interesting people stories. When we look beyond what’s on the outside, we see beautiful stories about people who find their edge and grow their faith, discipline, values, and leadership. Their accomplishment’s are almost always a result of their growth in important areas. When we develop the most important areas of our life, we gain the intent, desire and focus to expand skills and impact.
Hard Comes First because stories and examples can be used for good. Too much good not to tell. This is why we need the guide to winning, Hard Comes First.
