GREATNESS IS BORING

GREATNESS IS BORING

I want the best for my players, which is why we discuss helpful topics. Most of these are simple, but they are often not executed without discipline. It’s the discipline that separates the good from the great.  Who do you want the best for? Is it a teammate, spouse, child, co-worker, or friend? Or possibly yourself?

Take a look at the memo below. Is there an opportunity to elevate yourself or others to D1 athletic standards? The question is worth addressing because we’re worth it.

GREATNESS IS BORING

Because of your high level of training, stress, and value, you deserve the best. You, as a high-performance individual, are elite and deserve the utmost care. Remember, self-care is not a luxury; it’s a necessity for your continued success.

Look for opportunities to win in these areas:

  • Know your values and stick to them. Your values are your compass, guiding you in the right direction. Stay true to them and you’ll always be on the path to success.
  • Eat for Nutrition -Vitamin C – Citrus, strawberries, peppers, and spinach. Vitamin D -Dairy, Zinc- Red meat, oats. Omega-3 – Fish. Protein – lean meats, dairy, supplements. Calories – a balanced diet.
  • Ensure you get the rest you need. Aim for nine hours of sleep each night to support your high performance.
  • Level of commitment – Late nights, alcohol, and bad decisions have consequences you can’t avoid.
  • Hydration – reach your goals daily.
  • Ensure your well-being by practicing good hygiene in your daily routine. This includes regular hand washing, using your own water bottle, and avoiding unnecessary face touching.
  • Relationships – Do not take issue with things that don’t matter. Say you’re sorry quickly.
  • Make it a point to do something special for someone else every day.
  • Study the game that you play. Own your development in every way.

Make the big time where you are. Let me know what questions you have and go for it.

Thank you.
