Difficult Day

Difficult Day

Difficult days are a part of life. In tough times, our mental toughness is challenged. Rough seas can make us stronger if we have the right mindset. In sports, we use drills and simulations to help us execute better under the pressure of game day. There’s proof that this sort of training works. It develops skills and improves mentality. The same is true in life. So, ask yourself if you’d like to become more resilient. If the answer is yes, choose to look at difficulty as an opportunity to grow—nothing more.

Some people are born with personality traits that make them more resilient than others. This doesn’t matter because mental toughness and resiliency are areas in which we can improve. We run our race where focusing on our improvement is more important than making excuses or comparing ourselves with others. This is precisely why I wrote Hard Comes First, A Guide to Winning.

In my many years of coaching, I have countless examples where people have used difficult times for good and not only helped themselves, but also others. Hard Comes First, A Guide to Winning is available on Amazon. I encourage you to read the book, as we all need inspiration to navigate life’s challenges.

Respectfully,

Rod
